“If only I had more money, then I’d be happy.”
So often we believe that there isn’t enough money and that we can’t be happy until we have more money.
I understand this completely!
But money is simply a system of energy, which means there’s plenty to go around.
In my book, Remembering Wholeness, I talk about how our beliefs create our reality.
Ready to create a new reality with money & create more happiness in your life?
If you wait until money shows up to let your happiness grow, you’re actually working against yourself because you’re defeating the purpose of your current experience!
You can learn how to create more happiness without a lot of money, so you don’t have to learn it later when money is more plentiful.
Don’t give money the power to make you happy.
It’s time to release money to its correct place: a neutral resource that’s easily available to you, and it freely flows to you.
Your belief system is creating your current experience with money.
Let’s change that belief system.
Here are 2 easy ways to change your beliefs about money and see changes in your bank account:
1. Write a new script for money.
Take a dollar bill and write all over the dollar bill these statements:
- I’m worthy of money.
- I’m good with money.
- Money flows to me easily.
- Money supports me.
- I’m in harmony with a greater flow of money.
- I’m grateful for the money I have now.
- I’m receiving money from expected and unexpected places.
- I’m honoring others who have more money than me.
- I’m choosing happiness now, no matter how much money I have.
2. Read it every day!
Tape the dollar bill to your bathroom mirror so you can read it while you get ready for your day.
Here’s the fun part: every day, add a new belief to your money script. Write it on the dollar bill, or you can use a dry erase marker to write on your mirror, and it will clean off easily.
You are the deliberate creator of your money.
Years ago, my husband and I had tens of thousands of dollars in credit card debt.
Now it’s gone.
But it was during that time I learned how important it is to be happy no matter how much money I have or don’t have.
I no longer delay my happiness until we have more money.
I make it a point to choose happiness every day, and I started doing this while we were still in debt.
An amazing thing happened: the energy shifted with our money!
As we continue to be wise and humble stewards of money, I know God will continue to bless us with more.
I know He wants to do that with you too.
Even more than He wants you to be rich, God wants you to be happy.
Once you’ve started this exercise of changing your script with money, what shows up for you?
